Study in the shallow pools of the Ayung river; wade with nets and microscopes to study fish, frogs and insects. Watch and learn all the weird things they do.

“Cocoa Kids”Chocolate Making

Collect cocoa pods and extract the beans to make organic cocoa powder using traditional methods (i.e. by hand/mortar and pestle - no machines). Using locally harvested palm sugar, we then make chocolate sauce for banana splits!

The Amazing Race

Learn about teamwork and Bali through series of fun challenges that highlight local artistic and cultural traditions like eating “kerupuk” crackers suspended on strings, balancing baskets, creating Balinese sweets and walking on bamboo “stilts”.

Mud Pit Madness

The most popular activity at Green Camp is playing in the mud pit. It’s the coolest thing ever and allows you to really, really have some fun. You may want to bring a change of clothes.

Tubing Fun

tubingfun Throw your tube in the river, put on your helmet, jump on and drift downstream! Choose from sections where you need to dodge boulders and learn how to steer your tube, or others where you can lie back and relax. Competitive campers can join in the tube race

Hike through the jungle and study leaves and plants to learn the secrets of the forest and its inhabitants.

Art Attack: Batik Style

Learn about the ancient Indonesian tradition of batik from local artisans. Get hands on with pottery, making paper lanterns or decorating your own t-shirt Green Camp style.

Low Ropes Course

Swing, climb and balance your way through Green Camps low ropes challenge carrying a water container that must not be spilt. Will your team be the victor and claim the prize of chocolate cookies and fresh fruit juice

Shadows & Sounds

Learn about traditional Indonesian shadow puppetry by making your own puppets, write and produce your own play and use the drums for adding dramatic sound effects.

Traditional Kite Making & Festival


Learn to make and decorate traditional Balinese kites from paper and bamboo and participate in a flying festival.

Bugtastic

Trek around the Green Camp grounds and find your very own creepy crawlies and bugs. Learn what they have for lunch and how they catch it. Look under a microscope to see what they look like up real close.
